In collaboration with Ecoo, CSS has created its own coin, fostering a closer connection with customers by involving local businesses.

The CSS Coin provides insured individuals the opportunity to spend coins within a unique ecosystem of shops. These coins can be purchased at a discounted rate: for CHF 0.50, customers receive a value of CHF 1.00. A map shows all nearby participating providers where the coins can be used as a payment method.
Participating businesses also benefit: no administrative effort, no process changes, and no transaction fees. Offering more to customers while supporting local commerce—CSS demonstrates how it’s done. The self-service platform, built on the sustainable Tezos blockchain, was developed by the Swiss company Ecoo AG.
