Promoting local companies Ecoo and Smoolis work together

Ecoo and Smoolis join forces to boost local businesses. From now on, Ecoo and Smoolis are working together to support local businesses. With Smoolis, anyone can quickly and easily create a multilingual website or online shop without any programming knowledge. Thanks to this partnership, every Smoolis online shop owner can now integrate digital vouchers and coins into their shopping cart with just a few clicks. This keeps local entrepreneurs at the cutting edge of technology.

Ecoo encourages people to shop at local businesses. For businesses, there is no additional administrative effort, no process changes are necessary, and there are no transaction costs. The app, based on the sustainable Tezos blockchain and developed by two teams in Zug and Zurich, is operated from Switzerland. When creating a new webshop, the Ecoo voucher program is now integrated, and in the future, your own coin can even be integrated. Local businesses can thus benefit from a huge community that emerges from the various ecosystems on Ecoo.

With the Ecoo app, any organization can launch its own dedicated payment system within 48 hours. Whether cities or clubs, companies or tourism regions; they can all define positive behavior in their ecosystem and reward it financially. In Wetzikon and Erlenbach, the app has already been able to motivate hundreds of residents and businesses for the local lifestyle, and soon Ecoo solutions will be seen at festivals, in employee canteens, and to promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

Marc van Nuffel, Deputy CEO of Ecoo AG, says: "With Smoolis, we have found the ideal partner. Because we both care about entrepreneurship and want to do everything to promote and simplify it."

"We attach great importance to making the latest technologies and exclusive services easily accessible to our customers, and that is exactly what we want to enable with the cooperation with Ecoo. By integrating Ecoo into our eCommerce platform, we also support and promote local business," says Despina Cosmoulis, CEO of Smoolis.
